18 x 1 = 18

18 x 2 = 36

18 x 3 = 54

18 x 4 = 72

18 x 5 = 90

18 x 6 = 108

18 x 7 = 126

18 x 8 = 144

18 x 9 = 162

18 x 10 = 180

Let’s learn it in more easy ways:

When we add the same number over and over again, it is called repeated addition.

For Example 18+18+18+18=72

There are 18 plates and on each plate, there are 2 candies in it. So there are 18 groups of 2 candies.

or 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=36 is equal to all 36 candies.

When each group has a similar number, we can multiply to find how many are there in all. We use “X” for multiplication.
