SUMMARY:Two-Day National Conference on Quantum Science\, Quantum Technologies\, Artificial Intelligence and Materials Science (NCQTAM -26) (Hybrid Mode)
DESCRIPTION:Two-Day National Conference on Quantum Science\, Quantum Technologies\, Artificial Intelligence and Materials Science (NCQTAM -26) \nAbout the Conference\nThe National Conference on developments in Quantum Science\, Quantum technology\, Materials Science\, Artificial\nIntelligence etc\, is a two-day academic event aimed at bringing together researchers\, academicians\, and industry\nexperts to explore cutting-edge developments across diverse areas of physics. The conference will feature plenary lectures\, invited talks\, workshops and interactive sessions covering topics mentioned. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange\, collaboration\, and dissemination of innovative ideas\, fostering connections between students\, scholars\, and professionals while highlighting the role of physics in driving sustainable solutions for science and technology. \nAbout Karnataka Physics Association\nKarnataka Physics Association (KPA)\, officially registered on March 24\, 2022\, under the Karnataka Societies Act\, 1960\, and inaugurated on July 27\, 2022\, by Professor A. S. Kiran Kumar\, former Chairman of ISRO\, is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to enhancing the teaching\, learning\, and application of physics across Karnataka. With a vision to connect students\, teachers\, and researchers throughout the state\, KPA aims to make Karnataka a model in innovative physics education by organizing lectures\, seminars\, workshops\, conferences\, competitions\, and interactive sessions. The association promotes the development of creative teaching materials\, facilitates the use of Kannada in higher education\, conducts teacher training programs\, celebrates significant scientific events\, and hosts educational visits\, exhibitions\, and popular lectures. Through these initiatives\, KPA fosters collaboration among educators\, encourages student engagement in physics\, and works to improve physics education from schools to universities. \nAbout Department of Physics\nThe Department of Physics at REVA University\, established in 2017\, offers UG\, PG\, and Ph.D. programs supported by 16 research-active faculty and the Centre for Advanced Materials\, a Centre of Excellence with over ₹2.8 crore funding from agencies such as DST-SERB\, VGST\, and UGC-DAE. The Centre focuses on advanced materials for photonics\, energy harvesting and storage\, optoelectronics\, thermoelectrics\, radiation shielding\, and 2D materials. The department hosts 23 Ph.D. scholars\, offers specialized M.Sc. Physics programs\, and a B.Sc. (PMCs) program emphasizing analytical and computational skills. Academic programs integrate strong theoretical–practical training\, competitive exam coaching\, national lab exposure\, MOOCs\, and holistic development through workshops\, conferences\, FDPs\, and industry collaborations. \nThemes of the Conference\n\nQuantum Physics and Quantum Technologies\nNanoscience\, Nanotechnology\, and Soft Matter Physics\nCondensed Matter Physics and Materials Science\nPhotonics\, Optics\, and Laser-Based Technologies\nEnergy Physics and Sustainable Technologies\nSensors\, Smart Devices\, and allied disciplines\nAI\, and Machine Learning in Physics\n\nNote: The conference is not restricted to these themes.\nContributions from all fields of physics and related interdisciplinary areas are welcome \nImportant Dates\nLast Date for registration and abstracts Submission: March\n15\, 2026 \n\nAcceptance of abstracts: March 20\, 2026\nLast date of payment and confirmation: March 29\, 2026\nConference dates: April 9-10\, 2026\n\nOrganiser\nSchool of Applied Sciences \nDepartment of Physics \nSchool of Applied Sciences\, REVA University\, Bengaluru \nIn association with\nKarnataka Physics Association (KPA) \nVenue:\nDr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall\nSchool of Applied Sciences\, REVA University\, Bengaluru
