Let’s learn it in more easy ways.
When we add the same number over and over again, it is called repeated addition.
For example 7+7+7+7+7 = 35
There are 7 baskets and in each basket, there are 4 apples in it. So, there are 7 groups of 4 apples.
or 4+4+4+4+4+4+4=28 is equal to 28 apples in all.
When each group has a similar number, we can multiply to find how many are there in all. We use ” X ” for multiplication.
