There are 5 Chairs and each chair has 4 legs. So, there are 5 groups of 4 leg

or 4+4+4+4+4 is equal to 20 legs in all.

When each group has similar number, we can multiply to find how many are there in all. We use “x” for multiplication.

                                        4+4+4+4+4=20,

5 groups of 4 each is equal to 20.
