Let’s learn it in more easy ways:
When we add the same number over and over again, it is called repeated addition.
For Example 9+9+9+9 = 36
There are 9 bowls and in each bowl, there are 3 candies in it. So there are 9 groups of 3 candies.
or 3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3=27 is equal to all 27 candies.
When each group has a similar number, we can multiply to find how many are there in all. We use “X” for multiplication.
For Example;
