G20- 2nd Agriculture Working Group Meeting-2023 at Chandigarh

The group 20 (G20) countries representatives are visiting the city beautiful Chandigarh for the 2nd Agricultural Deputies Meeting of Agriculture Working Group (AWG), from 29th to 31st March 2023. In this event delegates from 19 member countries, 10 invited countries and 10 international organizations will participate.

The Union Territory of Chandigarh is located in the foothills of the Shivalik hill ranges in the north, of India.
G20 Presidency Theme of India
The theme of India’s G20 Presidency is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth · One Family · One Future”. “The theme reflect the value of all life human, animal, plant, and microorganisms – and their interconnectedness on the planet Earth and in the wider universe.”
“The theme also spotlights LiFE -Lifestyle for Environment, with its associated, environmentally sustainable and responsible choices, both at the level of individual lifestyles as well as national development, leading to globally transformative actions resulting in a cleaner, greener and bluer future.”

What is G20?
It is a forum for international economic cooperation. The Group of Twenty (G20) comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom, and United States) and European Union.
