Page speed is primary cobcern for all bloggers especially those who are new. Always, a concern for me to enhance the page speed and I frequently check on google page speed to check the insights.

Generate Press Theme

No doubt I can say this theme is best for the blogger’s websites, it is clean, simple, and attractive.  This can be manageable with many page builders like I am using a new one Beaver Builder. 

Generate press theme is free but it’s plugin is paid that comes with different functionality. So you can manage the post and pages easily.

As ussual, similar to the others you will get some demo sites that will be useful for you to create the content easily.

Generate Press Premium Plugin

You have to configure all the modules to make the theme more suitable for different platforms like mobile, tablet and personal computer. 

What features you can configure through it, you can see from the below picture.

From here you can manage the module accordingly. You need to tick the particular module that you want to configure along with woocommerce.

Layout Editor

Next is layout editor from that you can edit the layout of the posts and pages accordingly. Like you want the content with or without the sidebar. You want to put two sidebars or single in left or right side, its your choice and you can manage it from here.

This is an standard example for the CASE STUDY TYPE of posts. 

So you can decide your layout from here and mange the pages. 

After it what I had done to increase the speed, used AMP plugin, the version and type of plugin you can see from the above picture.

Activated with standard versin, (there are some limitations, use it carefully).

Page Speed with AMP

  Here you can see the page speed for the mobile and desktop. It was less than 25 for mobile and near about 65 for the destop. 

Now for the mobile its speed is 88 while for the desktop it is

In general it is not possible to get this page speed by the normal HTML+CSS+PHP.

Yes there are many points its positive side and many are negative side. So you decide what you want page speed or any other features? Its your choice.
