To increase the number for the Ph.D. degree, job and promotion research has been diluted. Diluted research is not useful for any purpose for the development of society’s needs.

Present Perspective of Research

Today scientific research diluted. One can observe, on a single problem one can see 4-7 sequential research papers in reputed indexed journals. also very limited citation you will see of papers that published after 2011-12 why?? surprise thing for me self-citation rate also decreased suddenly. (#self-citation means, one scholar who use their own individual/group published papers in references in the latest paper) . That indicates one is not sure what he has to be published and also not citing his/her latest paper(s) especially that published after 2011-12.

Not only Physics is a subject where research has been diluted but other subjects are also in the critical phase nowadays. Where researchers don’t have any new or significant problems. They are publishing research articles on the same problems with different methodologies. I don’t think any harm in this but the problem is mostly papers published by or under Govt research funds making research diluted.

Diluted Research Increase

Also, after publishing the number of papers, they couldn’t make any consensus on that issue. So further, one-stop to spend money and time on that problem this is the main issue here. Today’s main drawback and the dark side of research. Everyone knows that the number of publications and citations are two important factors to represent him or herself as a good researcher. After 2011-12 this number increases drastically while the good thing is here PHYSICS is such subject where the number of documents published and citable documents difference was negligible.

It rapidly falls for other subjects. Today citation per document is less than one while it was more than 12 in 2004 in most cases. DOES WE DON”T HAVE TO STOP HERE AND REVIEW THE NEW PATH OF RESEARCH. SO LARGE NUMBER OF SO-CALLED RESEARCHER STOP TO WASTE MONEY AND TIME OF THEIR IMPORTANT LIFE and COUNTRY. Diluted research increasing very fast nowadays.
